Sheffield Way Farm

Sheffield Way Farm is a peaceful place, set back in the woods, that calls to those who love nature and animals and a place to grow. We are located in Exeter, RI, on 40 acres of boarded pasture, paddocks, and beautiful pine trees.

 

Established in 2009, Sheffield Way Farm started its journey when Joan Alger and Jennifer Hunt, co-owners of the farm, first drove up the dirt drive. A then-existing dog kennel was transformed into a beautiful 12-stall barn with the guidance and experience of family members. Pastures were cleared, paddocks were built, a beautiful riding ring emerged, and Sheffield Way Farm had its roots.

All while keeping the charm and beauty of being in the woods with nature. Tucked back in our peaceful place, Sheffield Way Farm offers lessons, boarding, training, sales, summer camp, pony parties, clinics, and trail riding. With over 35 years of experience instructing and caring for horses, all of us here at Sheffield Way Farm are passionate about what we do and feel fortunate to work daily with our clients, students, and of course, the horses in our care.
